Kick off your adventure with a morning hike at Delaware Water Gap on Mount Minsi via the famous truehike; the Appalachian Trail, enjoy stunning summit views on the Delaware Water Gap. Then, continue to Hickory Run State Park, where a picnic lunch sets the stage for exploring the glacial Boulder Field and picturesque Hawk Falls. In the afternoon we will arrive at Jim Thorpe, often called the “Switzerland of America.” and check into the historic Inn at Jim Thorpe. Time to wander through the town’s charming streets, and explore unique shops, galleries, and visit the Mauch Chunk Museum. Wrap up the day with an elevated dining experience at Moya before unwinding with evening drinks at Marion Hose Bar.
Start the day with breakfast at the artsy Café Arielle before diving into the outdoor wonders of Lehigh Gorge State Park. Take a scenic train ride up the Lehigh Gorge, then bike back down to Jim Thorpe. After a delicious lunch at Stone Row Pub & Eatery, explore Jim Thorpe’s historic side with an optional tour of the Asa Packer Mansion or the eerie Old Jail Museum.
Start with a hearty breakfast at Tony Stella’s Encore, then dive into the ultimate adrenaline rush—optional whitewater rafting on the Lehigh River! (seasonal). Navigate exciting rapids and scenic gorges for an unforgettable adventure. After working up an appetite, refuel with a classic pub lunch at Molly Maguire’s. If this is not available we will enjoy another thrilling hike in the area!
