Itinerary

Day 1Boston, MA

Meet your group and guide in the morning of the first day of your trip, after an introductory meeting, you will start with a day tour in the city. Boston is a magnet for history buffs as well as architecture lovers. Drive through along parts of the iconic Freedom Trail and venture past the must-see historic stops in Boston. This driving tour will give you an overall history of Boston as well as showing you how a modern city is intimately connected to the past.  The North End neighborhood is steeped in colonial history. You can see where Paul Revere lived as well as the famous Old North Church, which played a very important role in the start of the American Revolution. After our tour we will enjoy local Seafood at our Welcome dinner followed by checking into our overnight hotel and lay ourselves to rest to get ready for the next full day of exploring!

Day 2Franconia Notch, New Hampshire - White Mountains

Leaving the bustling city behind, journey north to the breathtaking White Mountains of New Hampshire. Upon arriving at Franconia Notch State Park, experience the renowned Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway. This exhilarating ride takes you to the summit of Cannon Mountain, where you’ll be treated to sweeping views of the vibrant autumn foliage and the surrounding peaks. Afterward, stop at The Basin, a serene natural granite pothole formed by cascading waters, perfect for photos and reflection. End your day with an overnight stay in the charming town of Sugar Hill, NH, surrounded by the stunning scenery of New England’s fall colors.

Day 3Stowe, Vermont - Green Mountains

Day 4Lake Placid, NY - Adirondack Mountains

Starting our day again in the charming village of Stowe, surrounded by Vermont’s dazzling autumn foliage, before crossing into the rugged beauty of New York’s Adirondack Mountains. As you drive through this breathtaking region, witness the landscape transform into a vibrant tapestry of crimson, gold, and orange.

Your first destination is Whiteface Mountain, one of the Adirondacks’ most iconic peaks. Ascend to its summit via the scenic Veterans’ Memorial Highway, stopping at overlooks to marvel at panoramic views of the Adirondack wilderness, shimmering lakes, and rolling mountains adorned with fall colors.

In the evening, arrive in the Olympic village of Lake Placid, nestled along the tranquil shores of Mirror Lake. Your first stop is Quechee Gorge, often called Vermont’s “Little Grand Canyon.” Take in breathtaking views of the 165-foot-deep gorge carved by the Ottauquechee River, and enjoy a short stroll along the trails to soak in the natural beauty of this iconic landmark.

Continue your drive south, crossing into Massachusetts to visit Concord, a town rich in American literary and Revolutionary War history. Explore Walden Pond, made famous by Henry David Thoreau, or visit the Old North Bridge, where “the shot heard ‘round the world” was fired, marking the start of the American Revolution.
